- No Ads or Cookies: This extension does not use advertising services or tracking cookies.
3. Permissions Used
"camera" – To enable emotion detection using your webcam (only with permission)."scripting" – To run local scripts required for emotion detection and UI interaction."host_permissions" – May be required to display local video/media files; no tracking or data scraping is performed.
4. Third-Party Services & Libraries
We use the following open-source libraries:
- TensorFlow.js and FaceAPI.js – For face and emotion detection using pre-trained models. All processing occurs locally on your device.
- Firebase Hosting – Only used to host static video content.
